The Tau Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi recognizes and affirms the worth of every individual and actively seeks and supports a sisterhood that represents a diverse population. We ask our members to create an atmosphere of respect for different identities, personalities, experiences, backgrounds, and beliefs. Tau is committed to providing an inclusive space for our members and communities rooted in awareness, transparency, and foundational learning. We believe that our differences make us stronger, and at Tau, these differences are uniquely understood and celebrated.
Tau creates a culture of belonging in many ways. Throughout the school year, our Director of Inclusion organizes a variety of programs aimed at broadening our chapter’s perspective on the world around us. These programs include inviting speakers to chapter meetings, hosting cultural food events, and movie nights to celebrate Black History Month, Asian-American History Month, and more.
Through our motto, We Live For Each Other, we make sure that every member of our sisterhood feels heard, included, and celebrated. We love each other for who we are, not who we think each other should be. This culture at Tau creates a sisterhood that is strong, supportive, and lifelong.
